Welcome to Missy Cupcake, based in Sholing, Southampton. I create bespoke cakes and cupcakes including celebration, birthday and wedding cakes , specialising in buttercream designs. I also provide many other bakes including brownies, blondies , no bake cheesecakes and cookies, all created to coordinate with your special occasion.
At Missy Cupcake everything is baked from scratch. I use only the finest ingredients and decorations are lovingly handcrafted. Whatever your choice of cake or bake, it will be of the highest quality. It will not only look amazing but taste incredible too!
I offer a tempting menu of deliciously indulgent flavours and can cater for special dietary requirements including gluten free, diary free and vegan.

Hi,
I’m Melissa and I am the owner and founder of Missy Cupcake, a business that I started back in 2014 after rediscovering my passion for baking.
After baking hundreds of cupcakes for school cake sales and charity events when my children were young, I quickly began taking orders — and from there Missy Cupcake was born.
My passion for baking and cake design took off and my exciting journey into the world of cake decorating began, learning new techniques and creating a delicious portfolio of flavours to choose from.
I have always been a creative person and have spent many hours perfecting recipes and flavour combinations; I truly believe that a cake should taste as good as it looks, plus time researching and learning new skills in sugar craft.
I have a 5* hygiene rating from Southampton EHO and hold a level 2 food health and hygiene qualification, allergen awareness certificate. I also have Public and Products Liability Insurance.

Portions and pricing
At Missy Cupcake all of the cakes are bespoke, and so pricing will vary depending on the flavours, design and size. Prices start from £70 depending on the number of portions you require, flavours and level of decoration. Please contact me for a bespoke quote.
Price will be determined by the size of the cake, number of servings required, complexity of the design, sugar flowers or models, and any extras such as edible metallic leaf or ruffles. I will of course be mindful of your budget during the design process.
Round and square cakes are generally 4-5” deep, and I therefore recommend cutting at 1”X2” for a generous desert portion, or 1”X1” for smaller portions when serving with coffee (or for rich fruit cake).
